I work with photography as a way of observing everyday contexts and the ways their visibility shifts through positioning and repetition. I am interested in how the photographic medium conditions perception and in how I can construct images that depart from the everyday to formulate visual structures with broader resonance. Within this framework, I focus on what I call the public secret: aspects of the everyday that go unnoticed due to familiarity, even though they shape our ways of seeing, and the ways these perceptual lapses can return to visibility.
